As I was holding my empty glass--about to pour more Coca-Cola into it--I thought of something: What does an optimist say when the glass is empty? He can't say it's half full, or that it's not quite half full... It is what it is--empty.

I can't say that I'm an optimist nor a pessimist, but more of a "free-thinker"--as Mitchell dubbed a person that is neither optimist nor pessimist to be.

I can't really be optimistic about the way things are going for me right now in my personal life, but at the same time, I can't be pessimistic either... I'm doing exactly what I've been wanting to do: get to know myself.

Anyways, this is the picture that fit my thought.

the optimist says the glass is half full....
the pessimist says the glass is half empty....

the engineer says the glass is twice as large as it needs to be.

and i like the finger nail paint stuff being worn off.
adds a nice degree of pessimism

and the blueshish hand thingee is the most colorfull in the picture so it sorta distracts from the glass (which I think you want to be the main focus, right?)....

*shrug* I tend to keep the brightest colour of my pictures, and make everything else black and white... It's just my flare.

Actually, now that I think about it, the title is called "Confused Optimist", so it's okay that the picture emphasizes my hand.

Or, atleast, that's my excuse for being too lazy to go back and highlight the colours on the glass.
